A Mother’s Plea for Justice: 2 Years after the Murder of her 13 year old Son, Suspect still loose, Mother wants Justice.

Thanks to KXAN TV here is Austin for shining light on this cold murder case.  Two years ago, on November 29, 2011, 13 year old Luis Jaimes Flores was stabbed and killed a block from his home in Austin, Texas.  Felonies and crime occur all over Austin, Texas now on a daily basis after the tremendous growth over the last decade.  What is unique about this case is the age of the victim and law enforcement’s inability to find the suspect, 19 year old Roman Guadarrama Arroyo.  Arroyo was 17 years old at the time of the murder.  From most accounts, it appears this senseless murder was the result of a petty argument.

Arroyo, a criminal and alleged murderer, is rumored to be in Mexico alluding arrest.  Recent developments and tips however, have Austin Police looking for Arroyo in Austin, Texas and Central Texas.  Sgt. Brian Miller of the Austin Police Department commented on the cold case stating, “It can be frustrating, but we have a good team of detectives on it that are working very hard to try and find him”.  Arroyo has bond set at $600,000.  Ms. Flores, the victim’s mother, asked our community, “to please help communicate with the police so we can have new leads” in hopes that her “heart can finally be at peace”.

If you have any information, below is the tip line information for local law enforcement.
